If your life is spiralling out of control and you need to get back on track these are the tools that I use.  Getting them into your daily practice will help you live your life on your terms and help you deal with stress and overcome obstacles with ease.  You will also raise your vibration and attract more abundance into your life.  If you want a sense of calm, to gain clarity and step into your power then just add these simple tools into your day and you will soon notice the changes in you. The techniques really do not take long at all and once you get into the habit of doing them, they will become second nature.

1. Morning Pages

This is something that I was taught to do by my mentor.  It comes from the book The Artists Way by Julia Cameron.  Firstly get yourself a beautiful journal to write in.  You will need it for this and another tool that I will share with you.  As soon as you wake in the morning write three full pages in your journal.  Just write anything and everything that crosses your mind. Don’t think, just write.  Do this every morning and you will start to find messages in your writing, you will get clarity and your day will be more productive.  Every so often go over what you have written and you will surprise yourself.  This is like doing a brain dump and getting everything out.  Just try it, I am sure you will love it.

2. Meditation

Each morning when I am still in bed I do a short meditation.  Meditation is great for reducing stress, aiding concentration, increasing self awareness, makes you happy, benefits cardiovascular and immune health and helps you focus among many other amazing benefits. There are many guided meditations on the market or you could simply listen to a relaxing CD for 10 minutes.  I try and meditate in the morning and in the evening as well.  It really does not have to take up much time.  The benefits of meditation are amazing. 3. Protection

In the morning while doing my meditation I have a protection ritual which I do to set me up for the day.  As we go about our business during the day, we can pick up energies from other people, especially if we are sensitive.  If you find that you are exhausted after meeting with certain people and at the end of the day you could be picking up unwanted energies.  To stop this happening I imagine gold light coming in from the top of my head and filling my aura with gold energy.  I see it like a bubble around me and I ask that only loving energy can enter my energy fields and anything unwanted be repelled.

4. Chakra Cleanse

This is also something I do in my morning meditation.  You can use a meditation CD or you can visualise this yourself. Essentially you want to visualise each of your chakras being cleansed and spinning perfectly.  Chakra health is very important, imbalances can lead to problems in your life. For example, issues in your root chakra can block your flow of money! There are 7 major chakras, the root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, third eye and crown.    The chakras represent the seven centres of spiritual power in the body.

5. Positive Mental Attitude

This is crucial if you want to gain control of your life.  What you think, you will attract.  End of.  If you wake up thinking to day is going to be a bad day, then guess what, today will be a bad day. You will only attract into your life what you are thinking about.  Your thoughts are powerful. Don’t misuse them.  If you think positive outcomes then by the universal law of attraction this is what you will have.  So when you wake up, think wow what a great day I am going to have today!

6. Crystals

Crystals are my secret weapon.  I love crystals and have thousands of them – I am not exaggerating either.  My favourites for everyday use are amethyst and rose quartz.  You can carry them around with you, put them on your desk at work, put them in a room to raise the energy.  Rose quartz is a beautiful crystal to place in a room for creating harmony.  It is also the love crystal so one to carry or wear if you are looking for a new relationship. Try amethyst under your pillow if you have bad dreams.

7. Essential Oils

I use essential oils everyday.  My top three are lavender, peppermint and lemon.  I use lavender in my bath with some epsom salts for a cleansing bath and also a drop on my pillow to aid my sleep.  If I have a headache I put a drop of peppermint on my temples (don’t get it near your eyes) and it clears it up.  I use a drop of lemon as a cleansing drink in the morning (be sure to get Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Oils only – email me if you want to know where to get these from).

8. Cord Cutting

At the end of each day I do a cord cutting ritual to cut any negative cords from other people that may have attached to me during the day.  People do not know that they are doing this but if you are sensitive, others sense that positive energy and want some of it and a cord can become attached to you.  This is one reason you need to protect yourself every morning but sometimes these cords build up and can leave you feeling sluggish and tired.  This is especially important if you are a healer, tarot reader or therapist.  People like being in your energy, you make them feel good and a cord is attached.  You could even pick up a cord from a person you smile at in the street. To get rid of cords I normally ask Archangel Michael to cut any cords that are draining my energy and I visualise him cutting them with his sword.  I then fill the gaps where the cords have been with white light.
